Fruitcake, friend or foe?

This I wouldn’t know.

It was never in our house when I was small.

I’ve never eaten it at all.

I’ve never been the recipient of this peculiar holiday fare.

I think that’s ok and I don’t really care.

I’ve heard horror stories of a block that weighs a ton.

I’m not willing to break my tooth on one.

If you want to eat it, that’s fine with me

But I don’t need it under my Christmas tree.
